Reset Network Solutions Services
If you have lost the capability to use Network Solutions services as a result of making changes using DNS Manager – Advanced Tools, you can either reactivate services individually or reactivate all services by reverting all DNS settings to the default Network Solutions settings. Note that:
- When you reset all your Network Solutions services at one time, you lose your custom DNS settings
- DNS updates will take up to 2 hours to take effect (updates may resolve more quickly at some locations than others because many name servers on the Internet retrieve updates at different times).
To reactivate Network Solutions services individually
- Follow instructions for accessing DNS Manager – Advanced Tools to view the DNS Manager Settings page
- On the DNS Manager Settings page, in the Reset Network Solutions Services section, select the service to reset
- Click Reset
- Review the list of requested changes
- Click Continue
To reactivate all Network Solutions services by reverting all DNS settings to the default Network Solution settings
- From the Domain Folder page, click the domain name to view details
- On the Domain Details page, next to DNS Settings, click Reset DNS to Default Settings
- Review the list of requested changes
- Click Continue
- You lose all current DNS settings created in DNS Manager – Advanced Tools, and your DNS settings automatically revert to the original settings for your Network Solutions Web Site, E-Mail, and Web Forwarding services
