Edit or Replace Primary Contact
There is only one Primary Contact per account. When an account is created as an individual (personal) account, it is assumed that the Account Holder is the Primary Contact; therefore the following instructions do not apply to individual type accounts.
For organization (business) accounts, the Account Holder assigns the Primary Contact as the legal representative, with full authority to act on behalf of the Account Holder to manage the account:
Only Account Holders and Primary Contacts can edit or replace a Primary Contact. When replacing a Primary Contact:
- The current Primary Contact can use Account Manager to assign the role to someone else.
- The Account Holder can replace the Primary Contact by contacting Network Solutions Customer Service.
To edit or replace a Primary Contact
- Click the Profiles & Accounts left menu tab
- Click the Accounts sub tab
- Click the account number for which you want to edit or replace the Primary Contact
- Click the Profiles & Accounts left menu tab
- Click the Accounts sub tab
- Click the account number for which you want to edit or replace the Primary Contact
- Under People Who Can Access This Account click Edit Account Contacts and follow the links
