Change User ID/Password

A User ID is the string of unique letters and numbers used in combination with your password to log in to Account Manager and to access all accounts associated with that User ID:

To change your User ID or Password

  1. Click the Profiles & Accounts left menu tab
  2. Click the User Profile tab
  3. In the User ID and Password box, click Edit User ID/Password
  4. Enter the new User ID and password information and click Save

Enter or Change a Security Question

You also can enter a password security challenge question if you have not already done so, or you can revise the existing question. This question helps Network Solutions to confirm your identity and will enable you to reset your Account Manager password if you forget it.

It is critical that you keep your challenge question up to date. If it is not kept current, any transaction with Network Solutions could be delayed or jeopardized, and fax verification could be required for authentication.

To review or update your password security challenge question

  1. Click the Profiles & Accounts left menu tab
  2. Click the User Profile tab
  3. In the User ID and Password box, click Edit User ID/Password
  4. At the bottom of the page, in the Edit Password Security Question section, review and if necessary change your challenge question and answer
  5. Click Save
